Tuning parts are special parts that you can strap onto your vehicle before a race to give yourself an edge over the competition. They have varying effects and each part can be upgraded multiple times.
Each vehicle has a total of 3 slots for tuning parts. You begin with one, with the second and third unlocked at Vehicle Power 36 and 106 respectively. Note that not all vehicles can use all tuning parts. For example, vehicles with roofs cannot use the roll cage part.

Total parts cost:
You can upgrade a part freely by watching an ad (or using VIP if you have it) while the upgrade costs less than 10,000 coins. It means that common parts can be upgraded freely until level 5 and rare parts, until level 3. Epic and legendary parts cannot be upgraded freely (1st epic part upgrade costs 13,000 coins and 1st legendary part upgrade costs 24,000 coins).
