Snowmobile is one of the vehicles available in the game Hill Climb Racing 2.

Overview[ | ]

The Snowmobile is an average vehicle, with decent and fast acceleration, but a rather mediocre speed. It has a rigid suspension, making it less suited for stunts (except over water pools). The suspension is rigid, making it dangerous to use on bumpy roads, and occasionally on races.

What is special about this vehicle is its ski ability, which allows it to glide over water pools, causing much less drag than when driving under them. The ski is initiated by feathering the brake while holding down the accelerator when on a water pool. This works well on Adventure maps like "City" as it helps to prevent drowning. It can be difficult to master this, but with practice, this can propel the vehicle significantly. The glide will end when the Snowmobile ceases to ski, causing it to drop under water. Be careful landing head-on with the ski, as it will cause the Snowmobile to bounce up. The ski can cause a lot of drag when on normal roads, making it a lot slower, but the drag isn’t that strong on icy roads. Snowmobile is probably the one of few worst vehicles to use in time trials because of its speed, major friction, and lack of stunt performability.

As mentioned before, the Snowmobile has a ski, so the Snowmobile can easily bounce if it lands on it. It can be broken if it snags on a stone or a non-snowy surface from high areas or diagonal ski landings. The ski cannot be detatched on snowy/icy surfaces. Lowering the ski level will help to break it easier, but it will lower the track grip, making it harder to climb steep hills. Without the ski, the suspension weakens, making it easier to crash into walls and harder to stop, but friction is a lot less.

Unlockables[ | ]

See Vehicle Paints List for pictures and more information.

The Snowmobile has 11 different paints that can be obtained (VIP paint isn't included, but you can get it with VIP Subscription). After purchasing, it has free orange paint to start with. Note: the style and color of the Snowmobile tracks cannot be changed.

Trivia[ | ]

  • Snowmobile, seemingly based on a sportive snowmobiles.
  • When the driver dies, the snowmobile's engine is visible when the front part separates from the front. This engine, which only appears after hard impacts, appears to be a 4-cylinder engine.
  • Snowmobile's engine sound is apparently a slower and heavier version of Motocross' engine sound.
