Rotator is one of the vehicles available in the game Hill Climb Racing 2.

Overview

The Rotator is a unique vehicle, because it has the ability to rotate and drive upside-down, hence the name. If the Rotator comes into contact with the ceiling while the brake pedal is being pressed, it can drive on the ceiling for a length of time. This time can be extended by upgrading the tire Grip or the B.R.A.I.N. Also, the speed at which the body flips, or "rotates", can be enhanced by upgrading the B.R.A.I.N. The higher the B.R.A.I.N. level, the faster the body flip will be.

Its top speed is 88.17km/h (54.78mph or 24.49m/s), and it also has one of the most powerful Overcharged Turbos, able to rev up the vehicle multiple times over.

NOTE: Setting the B.R.A.I.N. at lower levels increases suspension because the wheels become less bouncy, which is great for Adventure use.

Rotator is similar to Monster Truck because of the big wheels, garage horn sound, and grip and suspension upgrades.

While the Rotator is slower driving upside-down due to slopes and drops, it is also better at climbing steep slopes in this position, due to a rather bad weight shift when climbing steep hills in the upright position. The Rotator also comes with a built-in, unupgradable rollcage that provides protection when driving on the ceiling or upside down. However, you should be careful when doing the latter due to the low suspension and weak cab of the Rotator, because if you hit a bump wrong with the cab, the rollcage will break and your driver will die.

This vehicle is very good for inexperienced players as its basically impossible to die in most situations

Unlockables

See Vehicle Paints List for pictures and more information.

Rotator comes with 8 different paints and 5 different wheels that can be obtained (VIP paint and wheel aren't included, but you can get it with VIP). After purchasing, it has free green-yellow paint and a wheel to start with.

Trivia

  • If the Rotator hits a bump while rotating or driving, the rollcage will break (however, this is not common.)
  • Due to an unforeseen bug, if the Rotator is kept upside down on a flat track, it can accelerate to around 250 km/h (69 m/s). In theory, it can do this speed on a ceiling too.
