Fuel management plays a key role in the gameplay. As you drive, your fuel gauge will slowly deplete. Keep in mind that the vehicles all have different sized fuel tanks. When you run out of fuel, you'll roll to a stop.

Note: The run will only end once your vehicle halts to a stop for a fraction of time. So, you can keep on with your run with a few tactics.

The Kangaroo Setup, consisting of Jump Shocks, Landing Boost and Wings, can help you drive for a long time even after you're out of fuel.

Despite having the same 30 seconds of fuel as some other vehicles, Hot Rod actually has the worst fuel in the game, because of its supercharger which drains fuel twice as fast after holding the accelerator for more than about 1.5 seconds. There are Tuning Parts, like Afterburner, which triples fuel consumption, and Thrusters that drain fuel faster depending on the level, so be careful when using them.

Battery

With the 1.47.0 update came a brand new vehicle that runs on a new fuel source, electricity. The CC-EV comes with a battery that operates just like the collectible fuels with just a battery () instead of a fuel canister (). So far, this is the only electric vehicle.
